If you enjoy having a a beverage every once in a while, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your pocketbook, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Grab only the money you intend to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might have a win following a drunken night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel is a bit drastic, but defensive actions for dramatic actions is necessary. If you gamble to win, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money without a concern, then drink all the free beer you can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and checks to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunken brain loses all the cash!
Let me to take this one step further. do not drink and then go on the internet to play in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condominium, but since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s definitely adequate to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
